Bilingual Sounds host, Byron Gonzalez chats with the rising singer-songwriter from her home in Panama. Valdés discusses her musical origins, her writing process, and releasing her ‘Ventura’ EP during the pandemic. Valdés also explains how she has struggled with her identity, being Latinx in the United States and how she has grown to be proud of who she is, a Panamanian Latina.
This 88FIVE Live At Home session also includes three special at-home performances of: “Handful of Water,” “Oceans Away” and “Lonely.”
